Jesus saith unto her, Mary.

– John 20:16

Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by name: Thou art mine. The sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name. And the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.

Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.

The foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. We have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God.

Thou shalt take two onyx stones, and grave on them the names of the children of Israel. And Aaron shall bear their names before the Lord upon his two shoulders for a memorial. And thou shalt make the breastplate of judgment. And thou shalt set in it four rows of stones. And the stones shall be with the names of the children of Israel, … and they shall be upon Aaron’s heart when he goeth in before the Lord.

Enoch walked with God. – Gen 5:22

Can two walk together, except they be agreed?

Having made peace through the blood of his cross … You, that were sometimes alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight.

—In Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

If, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

If, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.

In all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. – Heb 4:15

When the woman saw that the tree was good for food (the lust of the flesh), and that it was pleasant to the eyes (the lust of the eyes), and a tree to be desired to make one wise (the pride of life), she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

When the tempter came to [Jesus], he said, if thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread (the lust of the flesh). But he answered, … Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. The devil … sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them (the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life). Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan.

In that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

Blessed is the man that endureth temptation.

I beseech thee, shew me thy glory. – Exod 33:18

God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.—The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth … No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?—When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, Lord, will I seek.

We all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.—Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

If a man sin against the Lord, who shall intreat for him? – 1 Sam 2:25

If any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: and he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.—Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; to declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

He is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom.

What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea, rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

Thou God seest me. – Gen 16:13

O Lord, thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether … Such knowledge is too wonderful for me: it is high, I cannot attain unto it.

The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.—The ways of man are before the eyes of the Lord, and he pondereth all his goings.—God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.—The eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him.

Jesus … knew all men, and needed not that any should testify of man; for he knew what was in man.—Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee.

The spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. – Rom 8:15

Jesus … lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, … Holy Father, … O righteous Father.—He said, Abba, Father.—Because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.—For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints and of the household of God.

Doubtless thou art our father, … thou, O Lord, art our father, our redeemer; thy name is from everlasting.

I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, and am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants. And he arose, and came to his father.

Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children.
