Jesus Always

Find your security in Me. As the world you inhabit seems increasingly unsafe, turn your attention to Me more and more often. Remember that I am with you at all times, and I have already won the ultimate victory. Because I am in you and you are in Me, you have an eternity of perfect, stress-free life awaiting you. There will be no trace of fear or worry in heaven. Reverential worship of the King of Glory will flood you with unimaginable Joy!

Let this future hope strengthen and encourage you while you’re living in this deeply fallen world. When you start to feel anxious about something you have seen, heard, or thought, bring that concern to Me. Remind yourself that I am the One who makes you secure—in all circumstances! If you find your mind gravitating toward an idolatrous way of feeling safe, tell yourself: “That’s not what makes me safe.” Then look trustingly to Me, and think about who I am: the victorious Savior-God who is your Friend forever. In Me you are absolutely secure!

“On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.”
~ John 14:20

Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in.
~Psalm 24:7

There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off.
~ Proverbs 23:18

Morning Devotional

Pray About

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.
~ Philippians 4:6

Do your best with the talents God has given you, and relinquish to Him the things over which you have no control.  When you turn all of your worries to God, a sense of peace will set in.  If you feel anxiety and worry building up in your thoughts, take a moment to ask your Heavenly Father to calm your fears.  Remember to thank Him by acknowledging that He is the creator of this earth.

Evening Prayer

ON TITHING
Malachi 3:8-10

In Jesus’ Name, I Pray God’s Will for You Tonight

May you thank God for all the provisions He has given you, for He is your provider. May you honor God with the first fruit of your earnings. May you bring the whole tithe into His storehouse, that there may be food in God’s house. I pray that you will not rob God in this. I pray that as you test Him in your giving and in your obedience, He will display His power by opening tremendous opportunities for you in the heavenly realms that you cannot contain. As you have witnessed His goodness in the past, may your faith grow even more.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Forgive Generously

Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong.  Let them turn to the Lord that he may have mercy on them.  Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously. (NLT) ( Isaiah 55:7 )

The Old Testament documents God chasing after His children relentlessly.  They continuously turn from Him, yet He still is graceful and merciful.  As children of God, He has chased after us and forgiven us of our sins.  It is our duty as Christians to continuously chase after others and show them the love of God, even if they turn from us.  As difficult as it may be, is there anyone in your life who needs your forgiveness and mercy?
