Evening Prayer

CONFESS YOUR SINS
Leviticus 5:5; Isaiah 59:1, 2

In Jesus’ Name, I Pray God’s Will for You.

I pray that you will thank God for His grace and mercy, for there is no sin that is too big for Him to forgive. I pray then, that you will confess your sins and ask for God’s forgiveness, for sin separates you from Him. May God not hide His face from you nor prevent you from hearing Him because of your sins. May you understand that His arm is not too short to save, nor His ear too dull to hear. I pray that you will accept His loving forgiveness, so that you may reclaim your relationship with Him today.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Evening Prayer

THANKSGIVING FOR HEALING
Isaiah 38:16-17, 19-20

In Jesus’ Name, I Pray God’s Will for You.

May you give thanks to the Lord for completely healing you. I pray that you will always testify about His faithfulness in your life. May you never cease to give Him thanks for the love He showed you in the midst of your suffering. I pray that you will never forget that He kept His promise to rescue you from the pit of destruction. For all these years that He has kept you, may you always be grateful. I pray that your spirit will always find life and good health in Him.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

The Supreme Judge

You have seen the wrong they have done to me, Lord. Be my judge, and prove me right.
~ Lamentations 3:59 [NLT]

When someone treats us badly or takes what is rightfully ours, we want revenge. Often times we secretly hope bad things come their way. But is that really how we should react? Don’t they still deserve our love? When we take charge and take revenge it’s because we believe we can do a better job than God. Take heart in knowing God, the supreme judge, who reigns in Heaven also reigns on Earth.

God is With You

For the LORD your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.”
~ Zephaniah 3:17 [NLT]

When life becomes challenging, remember, God is with you! He is delighted by you. You are His most prized creation.  Be reminded that His love is there, as a comfort, when you need it.  Our mighty God is there for you because He loves His children.

Evening Prayer

REMEMBER YOUR CREATOR
Psalm 139:13-16

In Jesus’ Name, I Pray God’s Will for You.

I pray that you will praise God today, remembering that He is your Maker, and that you have been fearfully and wonderfully made. May you not compare yourself to others, for you are unique in His eyes. May you realize that when He made your frame in the secret place, He delighted in you. His eyes saw your unformed body. I pray that you will not be anxious of your situation, because all the days ordained for you were written in His book before you even came to be. As He created your inmost being and knit you together in your mother’s womb, may you glorify Him with your life.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Will Not Fail You

No one will be able to stand against you as long as you live. For I will be with you as I was with Moses. I will not fail you or abandon you.
~ Joshua 1:5 [NLT]

Think back to a time when an exciting, unbelievable event happened in your life. Then, put that event into context. What important events, conversations, or interactions happened to make the miracle possible? At first glance those precursors seem random, but in hindsight everything seemed to come together. That’s the hand of God in your life. When you think He has abandoned you He is actually busy at work.

Evening Prayer

FEAR THE LORD
Proverbs 14:2, 26-27; 28:14; Psalms 112:1; 128:4

In Jesus’ Name, I Pray God’s Will for You.

I pray that you will always fear the Lord, for fearing the Lord is a life-giving fountain that keeps you safe from deadly traps. May you walk upright in all your ways, nurturing a teachable heart. I pray that you will fear the Lord so that you may gain wisdom and be blessed, for he who hardens his heart falls into trouble. To fear God is to know His Word. I pray that you will always remember God’s Word and apply it in your life. Be blessed and protected as you have a holy fear of the Lord.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
