Jesus Always

I have good intentions for you. They may be radically different from what you hoped or expected, but they are nonetheless good. I am Light; in Me there is no darkness at all. So look for My Light in all your circumstances. I am abundantly present in your moments. Your assignment is to be open to Me and My ways with you. Sometimes this requires relinquishing things you had planned or dreamed. You need to remember and wholeheartedly believe that My way is perfect, no matter how hard it is.

I am a shield for all who take refuge in Me. When you’re feeling afflicted or afraid, come to Me and say: “Lord, I take refuge in You.” I don’t shield you from things I intend for you to deal with, for you have an important part to play in this world. However, I protect you from more dangers and troubles than you can imagine. So make every effort to live the life I have assigned to you. Do this in joyful dependence on Me, and your soul will be richly satisfied.

This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.

Jesus Always

Let My Peace protect your mind and heart. Remember that I am near, and rejoice in My abiding Presence. Spend ample time with Me, presenting your requests to Me with thanksgiving. This is the way to receive My Peace that transcends understanding. This is how I guard your heart and your mind. It’s a collaborative, you-and-I-together effort. You never face anything alone!

For Christians, aloneness is an illusion—a dangerous one that can lead to depression or self-pity. The devil and his underlings work hard to cloud your awareness of My Presence. It’s crucial for you to recognize and resist their attacks. Fight back with My powerful Word, which is living and active. Read it; ponder it; memorize it; speak it.

Even if you’re feeling alone, you can talk freely with Me—trusting that I am with you always. The longer you communicate with Me, the more convinced you’ll become of My nearness. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come close to Me, and I will come close to you.

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Jesus Always

If you have Me—your Savior, Lord, and Friend—you have everything that really matters. You may not have riches, fame, or success, but don’t let that discourage you. As I said to My disciples, “What do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul?” Nothing can be compared with the priceless treasure of eternal Life! Consider a jewel merchant on the hunt for excellent pearls. When he found one that was flawless, he sold everything and bought it. My kingdom is like that: of inestimable worth! So learn to be content with having Me, beloved, regardless of what you may lack in this world.

The source of much discontentment is comparing oneself with others. I want you to make every effort to avoid this deadly trap. Remember that you are My unique creation—redeemed by My blood and exquisitely precious to Me. Stay in joyful communication with Me, the Savior who loves you immeasurably more than you can imagine. I will transform you more and more into the masterpiece I designed you to be.

And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul?”

Jesus Always

My kingdom is not of this world; it is indestructible and eternal. When you see shocking evil and mismanagement all around you, do not despair. As I was being arrested, I told My disciples that I could call on My Father and He would send more than twelve legions of angels to rescue Me. However, this was not the plan We had chosen. It was necessary for Me to be crucified—to save everyone who calls on My Name.

Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jews. But now my kingdom is from another place.”

“Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels?”

And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

Jesus Lives

HIS PRESENCE

I want you to spend time with Me for the pure pleasure of being in My company. When you take delight in My Presence, you experience a foretaste of the eternal pleasures I have prepared for you. Unfortunately, the “dailyness” of life tends to pull you down, and your focus on routine duties often obscures your awareness of Me.

To enjoy My companionship in all that you do, wait in My Presence while I reveal Myself to you. Put aside thoughts of tasks awaiting you as you focus pleasurably on Me. Allow awareness of My Presence to become imprinted on your consciousness. Then move gently from this contemplative time into your routine duties and continue communing with Me, asking Me to be vibrantly involved in your work.

Having already connected with Me at a deep level, you can find Me more easily in the midst of your activities. Naturally, you will lose sight of Me at times; I know you’re only human. But you can reconnect readily by moving toward Me in your thoughts, words, and feelings. The more you include Me in your awareness, the brighter your day will be: Your routines will sparkle with the liveliness of My company.

I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in his word I put my hope. My soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning, more than watchmen wait for the morning.

As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him; for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust.

Jesus Always

I want you to know the depth and breadth of My Love that surpasses knowledge. There is an enormous difference between knowing Me and knowing about Me. Similarly, experiencing My loving Presence is vastly different from knowing facts about My character. To experience My Presence, you need the empowering work of My Spirit. Ask Him to strengthen you with Power in your inner being so that you can know My Love in full measure.

Since the moment of your salvation, I have been alive in your heart. The more room you make for Me there, the more I can fill you with My Love. There are several ways to expand this space in your heart. It’s crucial to take time with Me—enjoying My Presence and studying My Word. It is also vital to stay in communication with Me. As the apostle Paul wrote, pray continually. This joyful practice will keep you close to Me. Finally, let My Love flow through you to others—in both your words and your actions. This makes My Love in you complete.

I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.

Jesus Always

I know about every one of your troubles. I have collected all your tears and preserved them in My bottle. So don’t be afraid of tears—or of the hardships that cause them. Your problems are not random or meaningless. I’m calling you to trust not only in Me but also in My sovereignty. I know what I am doing!

Because My perspective is infinite—unlimited by time or space—My ways of working in the world are often beyond your comprehension. If it were possible for you to see things from My God-perspective, you would understand the perfection of My will—and revel in My Glory. But now you see only a poor reflection, so you must learn to live with mystery.

I have collected your tears in My bottle because you are exceedingly precious to Me. And someday I will wipe every tear from your eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain. Rejoice in this glorious, heavenly future awaiting you! You have seen me tossing and turning through the night. 

You have collected all my tears and preserved them in your bottle! You have recorded every one in your book.
