“’When will I arise?’ and the night stretches on.”
[Job 7:4 NET]
“Watchman, what is left of the night?” The watchman replies, “Morning is coming.”
For just a little longer and he who is coming will arrive and not delay.—“[He] is like the light of morning when the sun comes up, a morning in which there are no clouds.”
“There are many dwelling places in my Father’s house. Otherwise, I would have told you, because I am going away to make ready a place for you. And if I go and make ready a place for you, I will come again and take you to be with me, so that where I am you may be too. Do not let your hearts be distressed or lacking in courage. You heard me say to you, ’I am going away and I am coming back to you.’”
“May all your enemies perish like this, O Lord! But may those who love you shine like the rising sun at its brightest!”—For you all are sons of the light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of the darkness.
There will be no night there.
