[Psalm 119:31, 41-42, 51; Romans 8:18]
I pray God’s strength to come upon you that you may withstand persecution. May His unfailing love come to you in accordance with His promise, so that you will be able to withstand the persecution of those who taunt you. Though the wicked ridicule and insult you, I pray that you will hold fast to His statutes and be assured that He will never let you be put to shame. Though the arrogant mock you without restraint or smear you with lies, may you not turn from His commands. May you realize that your present sufferings are not worth comparing to the glory that God will reveal through you.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
