“Show me your glory.”
[Exod 33:18 NET]
For God, who said “Let light shine out of darkness,” is the one who shined in our hearts to give us the light of the glorious knowledge of God in the face of Christ.
Now the Word became flesh and took up residence among us. We saw his glory – the glory of the one and only, full of grace and truth .. No one has ever seen God. The only one, himself God, who is in closest fellowship with the Father, has made God known.
I thirst for God, for the living God. I say, “When will I be able to go and appear in God’s presence?”
My heart tells me to pray to you, and I do pray to you, O Lord.
And we all, with unveiled faces reflecting the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another, which is from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
“Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, so that they can see my glory that you gave me because you loved me before the creation of the world.”
