Evening Devotional

You who pray to the Lord, don’t be silent!  [Isa 62:6]

“You have appointed them as a kingdom and priests to serve our God.”

“The sons of Aaron, the priests, must blow the trumpets; and they will be to you for an eternal ordinance throughout your generations. If you go to war in your land against an adversary who opposes you, then you must sound an alarm with the trumpets, and you will be remembered before the Lord your God, and you will be saved from your enemies.”

“I did not tell Jacob’s descendants, ’Seek me in vain!’”

The Lord responded favorably to them as their prayers reached his holy dwelling place in heaven.  The Lord pays attention to the godly and hears their cry for help.

Pray for one another … The prayer of a righteous person has great effectiveness.

Come, Lord Jesus!

O my God, do not delay!

Waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God.
