Lot looked up and saw the whole region of the Jordan. He noticed that all of it was well-watered (before the Lord obliterated Sodom and Gomorrah) like the garden of the Lord, like the land of Egypt, all the way to Zoar. Lot chose for himself the whole region of the Jordan.
Lot, a righteous man.
Do not be deceived. God will not be made a fool. For a person will reap what he sows. “Remember Lot’s wife!”
Do not become partners with those who do not believe, for what partnership is there between righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship does light have with darkness? Therefore “come out from their midst, and be separate,” says the Lord, “and touch no unclean thing.”
Therefore do not be partakers with them, for you were at one time darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of the light – trying to learn what is pleasing to the Lord. Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.
