For there is one God and one intermediary between God and humanity, Christ Jesus, himself human. [1 Tim 2:5]
Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, he likewise shared in their humanity.
“Turn to me so you can be delivered, all you who live in the earth’s remote regions! For I am God, and I have no peer.”
We have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous One. But now in Christ Jesus you who used to be far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, and he entered once for all into the most holy place not by the blood of goats and calves but by his own blood, and so he himself secured eternal redemption. And so he is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the eternal inheritance he has promised, since he died to set them free from the violations committed under the first covenant.
So he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.
