But whoever obeys his word, truly in this person the love of God has been perfected. [1 John 2:5]
Now may the God of peace who by the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep, our Lord Jesus Christ, equip you with every good thing to do his will, working in us what is pleasing before him through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever. Amen.
Now by this we know that we have come to know God: if we keep his commandments. “If anyone loves me, he will obey my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and take up residence with him.” Everyone who resides in him does not sin; everyone who sins has neither seen him nor known him. Little children, let no one deceive you: The one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as Jesus is righteous. By this love is perfected with us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment, because just as Jesus is, so also are we in this world.

[Galatians 3: 22, 26, 27, 29]
Remember that you have been made a child of God through your faith in Jesus Christ. May you have faith to believe that when you came to know Christ as your personal savior, you also have been adopted into God's loving family. I pray that you will have the faith to know that you are an heir to all of God's promises. May you praise God for calling you into His family, as you inherit the blessings of a loving relationship with Him.
In Jesus' Name, Amen.
We wait for the happy fulfillment of our hope in the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ. [Titus 2:13]
We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, sure and steadfast, which reaches inside behind the curtain, where Jesus our forerunner entered on our behalf. This one heaven must receive until the time all things are restored. When he comes to be glorified among his saints and admired on that day among all who have believed.
For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers together until now. Not only this, but we ourselves also, … groan inwardly as we eagerly await our adoption, the redemption of our bodies. Dear friends, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. We know that whenever it is revealed we will be like him, because we will see him just as he is. When Christ (who is your life) appears, then you too will be revealed in glory with him.
“Yes, I am coming soon!” Amen! Come, Lord Jesus!

“You were taught . . . to put off the old self which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires to be made new in the attitudes of your mind.”
Father God, today, without even realizing it, I could abandon the mindset of Christ to take on what fits me best in that moment. My attitude could be one of “me first”. That is not showing the mind of Christ, so please move me away from such deceitful thoughts. Amen
“Just look at the great things he has done for you!” [1 Sam 12:24]
“Remember the whole way by which he has brought you these forty years through the desert so that he might, by humbling you, test you to see if you have it within you to keep his commandments or not. Be keenly aware that just as a parent disciplines his child, the Lord your God disciplines you.”
I know, Lord, that your regulations are just. You disciplined me because of your faithful devotion to me. It was good for me to suffer, so that I might learn your statutes. Before I was afflicted I used to stray off, but now I keep your instructions. The Lord severely punished me, but he did not hand me over to death. He does not deal with us as our sins deserve; he does not repay us as our misdeeds deserve. For as the skies are high above the earth, so his loyal love towers over his faithful followers. For he knows what we are made of; he realizes we are made of clay.
